Work in Progress (& suggestions welcome)
Home Power Generation
OK, greeny-weenies, should we start here with a “statement of faith” regarding anthropogenic global warming and peak oil before we get down to brass tacks? Should we invoke the name of our most-revered, most wealthy, Nobel-prize winning, one true inventor of the internet? Or can we just skip all of that?
How about we just consider the principle of ”appropriate technology” instead and say, hey, maybe there are some good ways to protect yourself from rising energy costs, potential sytemic failure of man-made systems, and to live a reasonably comfortable life, either off-the-grid or, at least, less dependent on it? Sounds good.
